    1. We feed him when the neighbours are away. He knows immediately when they are gone for longer than a day. If we ever were to forget – he will be sitting there and watching our bedroom window.

    1. Uneasy peace. Johnny actually waits until Henry is off on a jaunt at night and then sneaks into our house through our bedroom into the kitchen and cleans out Henry’s bowl of crunchy food – we know in the morning because he takes every last bite.
