if it catches mice, it’s a good cat.
However, a black cat is always in danger of becoming a flat cat.
They stand a better chance if they sleep with their eyes open.
Henry – the resident black cat – doesn’t need to hide although he is occasionally. It took us three days a few weeks back to find his new favourite sleeping place (under the new lounge suite).
He is easier to spot if he is outside.
But black works best in contrast to bright colours.

Clever Henry 😹 We had a missing cat. Her new place was in a drawer. Somehow went up the back of the dresser and into the nice clean clothes
