Taking a Leaf from Perseus

Do you remember the story of the Greek hero Perseus and how he killed Medusa? Legend has it that if you looked at Medusa you were turned into stone which made it almost impossible to kill her. However, Perseus was a protegé of the goddess Athena who gave him a shiny shield and Perseus never looked at Medusa directly and could thus cut off her head. But he did look indirectly.

An indirect photo in a river and in a puddle.

An indirect picture of cloud in a small puddle. And an indirect picture of three landmarks of Weinheim in a big puddle, the pond in the palace garden.

Two indirect portraits of a two lonely gentlemen.

  1. So good Elke. I could make great abstracts out of some of those. I didn’t think your hubby could be lonely. Did he feel abandoned by you heading off to take photos?
