

These are parts of the rotary press on which the Esslinger Zeitung was printed from 1934 until 1983. When the press replaced for a newer model, the newspaper placed parts of the old one on the lawn in front of their office builing where it sits and rusts happily.

Old machinery on display is so good. I hope there is at least a better looking model in a museum somewhere

It will, in the end, I guess, a few hundred (or thousand? – no idea) years from now.
