The Wonders and Perils of Looking Up

That’s a house in the town centre of Bad Tölz. Like most houses here it is beautifully maintained. It has a cute little dormer, the windows are set-off by paintings and it has painted and raised stone panels running up the facade. Looking up reveals a painted, maybe even tiled border in the overhang of the roof. The difficulty in photographing a house like this is caused by the narrow streets which makes it difficult to get a shot of of the whole house. Furthermore, being in a group and not being able to really set up a shot results in cut off corners and weird angles. But here it is.

    1. 🌊 (I sent the last comment on summer fun too early, so here is splashing at you.) — Yes, the house was quite fascinating particularly with the decorated border underneath the roof.
