Henry was surprised that I caught him in the act. The mouse was stunned – it doesn’t look like it but I can vouch for the fact that she moved a few moments later and tried to run away.

In many ways, Henry has the best of both worlds: Modern day conveniences, like heating, proper food, pampering when he is with us, and an abandoned farmhouse on the neighbouring plot with several mouse families (and the odd lizard or bat) at his disposal.
