This is a brilliant cheese grater, aptly called “Kasimir” by the company who makes this product, alluding to “Käse“, i.e. cheese. It is in lieu of the very fat hedgehog that apparently lives in the neighbourhood gardens and keeps eating the cat food of the neighbours’ cat (he is fed outside by us when his owners are away for a couple of days).

Yes and no. It works very well with hard cheese. And it just pops into the dishwasher. With brush it’s equally easy to clean.
