Burg Schönburg above the town of Oberwesel in the Rhine Valley is today a refined hotel (we stayed in the not-quite-so-refined youth hostel next to it – we had the better view!). Maybe the castle would look a little less hotchpotch if they had used a greyish brown stone? In any case, I love the flag.
