Spoilt for choice – which is the best game?
Henry’s criteria are, of course, completely unique when judging a game.
Piraten-Pitt (otherwise known as Pirates of the Kindergarten) seems to be a contender.
In the end, it’s Boggle. Definitely the best fit.
Sports or boiled sweets – what’s your choice?

It is my day for traffic themes it seems (Friendly Friday, RDP, and now this). This is Wynona Rider (possibly similarities with known people are intentional). She has been with me for more than 5000km now or two years. I love riding her, I love the exercise she gives me, I love the freedom she gives me. Yet, she is a compromise. Wynona is a pedelec, i.e. she has a motor.
I am not apologetic about that: without the electrical assistance I would not ride a bike. We live between the plain of the Rhein valley and the hills of the Odenwald. Even at my fittest a ride in these hills would have been daunting for me. I certainly wouldn’t have gone on errands by bike, arriving sweating and puffing (and probably smelling) wherever I needed to go, and carrying home grocery bags.
Bought mainly for recreational purposes, Wynona has become an almost constant companion: I ride to work with her, I take her shopping, I go on outings. I ride her even when it’s raining and only ice and slush on the roads will stop me getting on her saddle. Everything within a radius of 15km is within easy reach, combined with trains we go even further. I regret not having made this compromise earlier.

To be honest, I could have just put a link to my contribution to the latest Friendly Friday Challenge: Be Cheap! but I didn’t want to be THAT cheap.
So I decided for this staggering tower of traffic signs: no pedestrians allowed, no bicycles allowed, no mopeds allowed, no trucks with dangerous loads allowed and a mysterious E which I couldn’t identify – edit: it is apparently a category E tunnel. But there is a radio channel in the upcoming tunnel. Yeah!
Travelling by train has just become a lot cheaper in Germany (at least, for the next three months). Our government is financing a monthly ticket for 9 Euro with which you can travel to every possible location within Germany.
There is one major restriction, e.g. you can only use it for regional trains, it is not valid in intercity and intercity express trains, i.e. a train ride from Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the South to Kiel in the North might take a while – but maybe in travelling it is more about the journey, not the arrival.
For me the attraction is combining trains with cycling. It definitely increases my radius and I’m looking forward to my summer break.
Taking a bike is better in some trains than in others. It can get very crowded. In fact, Deutsche Bahn jas already said that they will limit the bikes on a train if necessary
In fact, it is feared that trains will overload specifically on the popular tourist routes with so many Germans and visitors rushing to buy the cheap tickets.
