This rather large sculpture of Jürgen Goertz stands in front of the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis Hospital in Weinheim. Her earring is not the only impressive thing about her. But I’ve always been an earring woman. It’s the one piece of jewellery I never leave the house without it; in fact, I feel decidedly naked if I do forget it like once in a blue moon.

As I answered to Brian: punishment is fierce. It usually means: you have to empty you tankard/glass/beaker whatever. And you get a refill (of whatever you were drinking, if it was water, it will be water, if it was beer, it will be beer).

Oh, I thought you were responding to Brian’s answer on my post “With one up and one down” for 6 Word Saturday. The funny drinking ritual. — The earring, I don’t know. I found the name of the artist but not even a name for the sculpture. However, the woman’s other side of the head features more wheels and gear wheels.

That statue looks as if it may be large enough to have the ‘steering wheeel’ at full size.

It is the size of a sports car’s steering wheel (they are bit smaller than an ordinary car).
