This flower – a perennial shrub, up over 2 metres in height, native to the Indian subcontinent – is totally invasive in the North American continent and Europe. I don’t know about other areas but here they grow next to every little brook or stream.

Walking Leaves
These are leaf insects (aka grashoppers that engage in leaf mimikry) living in the Vivarium Darmstadt.
I’m not enough of a specialist to know if these particular insects are related to grasshoppers; they are if they are katydits but not if they are phylliidae.
